Job Summary

We seek individuals interested in working at the intersection/nexus of consulting and impact for six (6) months. The ideal candidate will work on projects that aim to solve development issues in Africa with a focus on WSH and Public Data Systems. They will collaborate with our expert teams to develop and implement evidence-based solutions and recommendations that address our clients’ needs and deliver impact at the last mile.

  • Conduct research and analysis on development issues that affect our clients in Nigeria and Africa.
  • Infer and present research findings in clear and concise reports, briefs, and other formats. 
  • Work with our expert team to plan and implement projects in Nigeria and across Africa. 
  • Pick and execute a high-level project in an area of interest.

Requirements 

  • This is a six (6) month fellowship program and participants are expected to contribute 80 hours a month.
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Economics, Political Science, Sustainability or related field. Post graduate degree in development areas will be an added advantage
  • Minimum three years cognate experience in research and analysis 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Familiarity with research and analysis tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or GIS (Geographic Information System) tools 
  • Experience or interest in International Development, Monitoring & Evaluation and Public Data Systems
  • Experience working with government agencies, NGOs (Non-governmental Organizations), or other development stakeholders in Africa
