Dev-Afrique served as the in-country implementation partner for UK FCDO-funded Vaccine Data CoLab project. The team’s role involved fostering collaboration among diverse vaccine data stakeholders to harness hyperlocal geospatial data for promoting equitable vaccine distribution and enabling real-time decision-making. Notably, Dev-Afrique has undertaken an extensive stakeholder consultation, engaging with national, regional, and local government entities, as well as private and donor organizations, to develop a comprehensive vaccine data system landscape report for Nigeria.

The team’s contributions go beyond generating and validating insights; Dev-Afrique ventured into implementation, facilitating the design and allocation of small-scale investments for innovative solutions aimed at ensuring the creation and effective utilisation of actionable data.

The team also supported with technical advisory given their broad spectrum of expertise in the vaccination ecosystem in Nigeria, and extended support by offering stakeholder engagement/management, technical assistance, and strategic guidance for the Vaccine Data CoLab’s grant funding initiatives involving four grantees operating in Nigeria.
