Uduak Umoessien is an Analyst at Dev-Afrique Development Advisors where she works to support the development of favorable policies through public policy advocacy efforts within relevant Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs) and project management for improving the development sector in Africa.

Prior to joining Dev-Afrique, she worked with the Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiations where she was involved in addressing trade-related issues and supported the implementation of work plans within Ministries, Departments and Agencies in Nigeria as it relates to international trade. She was also a business analysis at ACIOE Associates where she analyzed and developed sector reports to share insights to FMCG companies such as P&G, Unilever, Guiness and BMGF to support the ease of doing business in Nigeria. She then proceeded to work as the public policy officer with the mandate to advocate for smart policies as it relates to client needs in stimulating economic growth in Nigeria.

She has also worked to with a diverse team of experts to support the coordination and successful execution of the 4th edition of the African Growth Opportunity Act (AGOA) forum hosted by the Association for the Promotion of Exports in Cote d’Ivoire, Abidjan, and successfully led a team to support the business expansion agenda of the Societe Generale, Paris, France in delivering exceptional services in key Francophone African countries such as; Togo, Ivory Coast, Guinea Bissau and Senegal.

Uduak holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Entrepreneurship and International Business Development from the American Business School of Paris, France, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Babcock University, Ilishan remo, Ogun state, Nigeria. She is based in Abuja, Nigeria.
