We are pleased to continue the WSH Data Labs Water and Sanitation Data Systems Tools Webinar Series with a session focused on how national regulators are using fit-for-purpose data systems to strengthen oversight of non-sewered sanitation.

This edition features the 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗜𝗦)—a web-based platform developed by 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮’𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗘𝗪𝗨𝗥𝗔) to monitor, analyze, and standardize data on onsite sanitation (OSS) and faecal sludge management (FSM) services nationwide.

Deployed across the country, 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗜𝗦 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝟴𝟱 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 (𝗪𝗦𝗦𝗔𝘀)—including regional, township, and national project utilities—to report monthly operational data and support regulatory compliance.

WSH Data Labs promotes shared learning, best practices, and strengthening of water and sanitation data systems for improved performance management and service delivery across Africa.
