Eniola Elijah Akindele is a Consultant at Dev-Afrique Development Advisors, where he provides research, policy, monitoring, evaluation, and strategic advisory services to governments, development partners, and private sector institutions. He supports the design, implementation, and assessment of agricultural and food systems programmes, translating complex evidence into practical solutions that strengthen policy, investment, and development outcomes.

Prior to joining Dev-Afrique, Eniola served at the Presidential Food Systems Coordination Unit (PFSCU) in the Office of the Vice President of Nigeria, where he led research, data, and impact assessment for several flagship national agricultural initiatives. He played a central role in the technical design of the World Bank-supported US$500 million AGROW Programme, contributed to the development of Nigeria’s National Food Crisis Response Plan and Early Warning System in collaboration with FAO and WFP, led the development of the National Food Security Dashboard, and supported the design of major agricultural financing, fertilizer market reform, and agribusiness investment initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held research and market data roles at AFEX Commodity Exchange, where he led market intelligence, commodity forecasting, value chain assessments, and investment strategy across multiple African markets.

Eniola combines strong analytical expertise with practical experience leading multidisciplinary teams, managing complex research assignments, and engaging senior government officials, development partners, and private sector stakeholders. His work has contributed to policy reforms, investment decisions, programme learning, and evidence-based planning across agriculture and rural development.
