Joy is a Consultant at Dev-Afrique Development Advisors, where she supports business development, strategic partnerships, and technical advisory across environmental sustainability, biodiversity conservation, natural resources management, and emerging sectors. She works with governments, development partners, NGOs, and private sector institutions to identify growth opportunities, develop competitive proposals, and translate complex technical solutions into compelling value propositions that advance sustainable development.

Prior to joining Dev-Afrique, Joy served at Esri Eastern Africa, where she led the growth of the Natural Resources portfolio and supported geospatial solutions for conservation and protected areas management programmes across East Africa. She also worked as an Environmental and Social Consultant at E-cue Associates, supporting environmental and social impact assessments, project management, and resettlement action planning for infrastructure, water, and sanitation projects, while helping clients navigate environmental regulatory compliance in Kenya.

Joy holds a Bachelor of Environmental Planning and Management from Kenyatta University and a Master of Science in GIS and Remote Sensing from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). Her postgraduate research, published in the Journal of Geoscience and Environmental Protection, focused on the identification and mapping of municipal solid waste disposal sites using GIS and remote sensing. She combines expertise in business development, geospatial technologies, environmental management, and stakeholder engagement to support evidence-based solutions that strengthen environmental governance and sustainable development across Africa.
