Geospatial Data Use for Immunization in Burkina Faso.

To enhance the operational use of geospatial data, leading to increased efficiency and long-term sustainability in the country’s immunization programs, specifically addressing the challenges posed by COVID-19 vaccination.

Burkina Faso GRID3 has conducting a vital Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) exercise to assess the utilization of its microplanning maps, focusing on innovative approaches to boost geospatial data for immunization coverage, particularly in the context of COVID-19 vaccination. This initiative is integral to the ongoing technical support extended to Burkina Faso’s government and other development partners, to improve vaccine access, ensuring equitable distribution, and maintaining cost-effectiveness.

The primary objective is to enhance the operational use of geospatial data, leading to increased efficiency and long-term sustainability in the country’s immunization programs, specifically addressing the challenges posed by COVID-19 vaccination.
