About:

Shuko Musemangezhi is a Senior Consultant at Dev-Afrique Development Advisors, where he manages monitoring and evaluation and in-country advisory projects across Africa. Shuko serves as the board trustee and advisor to the Public Health Association of Zambia and is the Patron of the BeRelevant Africa Leadership Academy.

Prior to Dev-Afrique, Shuko worked at IDinsight where he supported African governments to harness the power of data for informed policy and decision-making. Shuko also worked at the nexus of Health Systems Strengthening, Health Promotion and Behaviour Change for Adolescent Health, Health Data systems Strengthening, Social Protection, Agriculture, Climate Change and Environmental Protection at GIZ, Graca Machel Trust, Health Builders, GFA and the YMCA.

Shuko has further worked in academia as a Lecturer for Evidence-based Global Health at the University of Global Health Equity, where he taught Epidemiology and Biostatics to Masters and MBBS students and examined and supervised student capstone projects.

Shuko holds a Master of Science in Global Health from the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Lusaka (UNILUS).
