About:

Nzanzu Jeremie is a consultant with Dev-Afrique, holding a degree in Information Technology and a Master’s in Community Health and Development from Great Lakes University of Kisumu, Kenya.

He is currently pursuing his PhD in community health and Development at the same university. Before his current role, he worked at Great Lakes University as a researcher and lecturer, where he made substantial contributions to community health and development.

During his tenure at the university, Nzanzu led several key initiatives such as spearheading the district quality health systems improvement through total quality Improvement approaches, monitoring and evaluating project partnerships within various districts to ensure effectiveness and sustainability, designing and implementing a community-based information system that helped monitor and evaluate the health status of households, promoting action research, which aided in identifying gaps and encouraged evidence-based decision-making supported by data analysis; providing strategic and operational leadership in the implementation of the TICH partnership program within the districts, advocating for greater access to healthcare, particularly through community-based care, through training and empowerment efforts. Nzanzu also established formal partnerships with community stakeholders to enhance collaborative healthcare initiatives, coordinated program activities, strengthening community-based childcare and support programs, and offering technical support to community health workers and organizations.

Nzanzu’s expertise lies in combining technology and community health to drive sustainable development and improve healthcare delivery at the grassroots level.
