Event Details

As part of the ongoing WSH Data Systems Tools Webinar Series, this fourth installment will spotlight the Lusaka Sanitation System (LSS), a web-based Monitoring & Evaluation Management Information System (M&E MIS) developed to improve the management and monitoring of sanitation services in Lusaka, Zambia. The LSS integrates real-time data from the Lusaka Water Supply and Sanitation Company (LWSC) and its key partners, the Ministry of Health (MoH) and the Lusaka City Council (LCC), to support more informed decision-making and improve public health outcomes.

Why Attend?
This webinar will offer key insights into how the LSS enhances effective service delivery through automated reporting and performance indicators that promote accountability and operational efficiency. Attendees will hear directly from LWSC experts involved in its implementation and explore how similar systems can benefit other regions.

This webinar is part of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation-funded project, Public Service Data Systems: Landscaping, Learning, and Technical Assistance, which promotes shared learning, best practices, and aims to strengthen the use of sanitation data systems for improved performance management across Sub-Saharan Africa.

The session is hosted by Dev-Afrique Development Advisors in collaboration with LWSC, the Eastern and Southern Africa Water and Sanitation (ESAWAS) Regulators Association, and the Global Water Operators’ Partnerships Alliance (GWOPA).
