Dev-Afrique has been a dedicated partner in providing invaluable support to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) Insight team, delivering essential research, advisory services, and in-country expertise to inform strategic decision-making in healthcare system strengthening across the African continent. Over the period spanning 2021 to 2023, a series of impactful projects were undertaken, with a particular emphasis on research-driven initiatives.

One such endeavour involved Dev-Afrique’s comprehensive assessment of COVID-19 vaccination adoption, vaccine hesitancy, access barriers, and the prevailing social norms within the eligible population of Lagos State, Nigeria. This research project was strategically designed to generate critical insights that would not only guide the future interventions and strategies of the Foundation’s Global Delivery Program but also foster overall improvements in healthcare outcomes.
